The Colorado Education Initiative is an independent nonprofit that collaborates with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), schools and districts across the state to accelerate achievement for all Colorado students. They believe every student can reach his or her full potential with the right set of supports. This means that every student in Colorado is prepared and unafraid to succeed in school, work, and life, and to take on the challenges of today, tomorrow, and beyond. 

School Retool is a professional development fellowship that helps school leaders redesign their school culture using small, scrappy experiments called “hacks.” Hacks may start small, but they're built on research-based practices that lead to deeper learning, and can create the kind of big change you aspire to—namely, preparing their students for life in the real world.
